For your enjoyment: some video of Renee with her puppies. She's still not got enough milk for everyone, but we still have lots of formula and bottles to make sure everyone gets lots to eat.

Is this her first litter? Considering all the interruptions, pain, and trauma, she's doing very, very well with her maternal responsibilities. The puppies are really tiny for ten days, but they're obviously lively and eating well. They might do everything late, like opening their eyes, trying to climb out of the whelping box, and so on, but eventually they'll catch up. FWIW, I'll ring my bells again for them and for the beautiful Renee.

This is actually her second litter. Her first was two years ago. She's an excellent mom, though I think the situation has her a bit stressed as she's more protective than usual. I'm very pleased with how the puppies are coming along. They get stronger every day. It's a challenge to weigh them now as they won't stop wriggling or trying to escape from the container I use to weight them in. Everyone is gaining steadily, I think some will hit their double weight gain milestone at the midnight weigh-in. It is truly miraculous that so many puppies have survived, and even thrived from this situation.
