Better known as Heke to his friends, this lovely hound is owned by Barbara Daley of Aotearoa Irish Wolfhounds.  Heke had a great start in the ring, winning best puppy in group at his very first show at only 6 months old.  He continued to show well, wowing the judges and cleaning up against puppies and mature dogs alike.  Heke has sired three lovely litters so far, with this being his fourth expected litter.

Renee is the produce of our first venture in breeding Irish Wolfhounds.  Generally, Renee enjoys the life of a farm dog, but when Renee neared her third birthday we decided it was time to show her in preparation for her first breeding.  She showed very well, winning several Winners' Bitch and Best of Opposites.  Her Championship was completed in just over three months.

Renee's first litter was by CAN Ch Aotearoa Oldline Tumanako.  She produced a lovely group of puppies with 7 boys and 3 girls.  We chose to keep one girl, Freehold Cleopatra.  The others went to wonderful homes throughout Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and even Poland.

This will be Renee's second (and last) litter of puppies.  The first litter was the product of a line breeding.  This litter will be a 50% outcross.  We are looking forward to the puppies' arrival some time around April 28th.
